Even though I'm not a fan of novellas I just grabbed The Story Guy by Mary Ann Rivers for $0.99. It's a longish novella published by Loveswept that has gotten A reviews from both DA & Smexy.

It's a short story but even her shorties are really good. She has another called Arden coming out soon just not sure exactly when.

What is wrong with you people. All I hear is Lick, Lick Lick when I go back reading this thread and now I have a sample of it on my Kindle and I have it on the watchlist.

There is some serious enable mojo going on here.

I am turning into a ebook horder. I mean I was well on my way, but you are not helping.

I read the DA review and am intrigued but scared too... it sounds sad. Even though it's supposed to have an HEA, she made it sound like it was a bittersweet type of thing. I don't do sad books very well When you finish (assuming it doesn't get lost in the TBR mountain as so many do) you'll have to tell me if I'll close the book on a sweet sigh or... not.

Anywho, I read the sample of Tangled and I had to get it right there. I don't usually buy from my Kindle, but I went and hit buy and it picked right up where my sample left off. I love my Kindle.

Why do I do this, when I have piles of books waiting to be read I already own, I can't find anything to read. Nothing licks my fancy. So I go and get a sample of something recommended I don't own yet. Why.
