Delete Files - Shortcut Key Combination for Macbook

I use Sigil 0.7.2. on a Macbook OSx 10.8.3.

Does anybody know a key shortcut to delete files from the Sigil html-Browser?
Sigil suggests the "delete"-Key to delete files, which does not exist on the Macbook, and the usual cmd-Backspace or fn-cmd-Backspace combinations do not work with Sigil.

Thanks for any help!

I don't run sigil on a mac, but can't you go into preferences and set the shortcut to whatever key you want?

New Entry?

@ St. Albert

Hi! Thanks for this idea! But how do I add a new entry to the shortcuts in "Sigil-Preferences"?
Right now, if I go to Sigil Preferences looking for "Delete Files" it only suggests "delete unused files", but I want to be able to delete any file I choose.

Did you try to select your file and use 'ctrl' + clic ?

I'm not sure to understand...

Unused = Unwanted = (really) any
Inside a book, you really don't want to keep 'excess baggage', so typically the thinking is unused.

Unless MAC Sigil is different, The shortcut is 'Unused MEDIA files'

Del or the MAC equivalent appears to be a System key and not assignable.

So try the key you normally delete files with in other places.

You can not add to the list, but you can reassign in the list in preferences.
