with a soldering iron or try a local technical college
or university.

Yeah, that was my first thought... But we're on vacations in my college right now... I tried with a few friends that are trying to become in engineers but they are more of systems and that kind of things.

I contact a friend of my and he contact another friend so the problem could be fixed in a few days (we're from different cities). But I hope his friend be careful with the screen.

I'm not sure about this suggestion, but the next best thing to someone who can repair tablets is probably the local HDTV repair shop or any sort of high end repair shop where they are used to repairing devices built with surface mount components.
