I also never use my eInk devices anymore. I read everything on my Nook HD+. This includes Novels, Magazines and PDF's.

I went from a K2i to a Nexus 7 tablet and then to a KPW.

I used to love my kindle 2 and it never left my hand for years when suddenly the wife decided she quite liked reading on it. I went out and bought a Nexus 7 as I thought it could do everything for me. It was a great tablet but I found it difficult sitting down to read on it for extended periods. I bought a Kindle paperwhite a month ago and now do my reading exclusively on this - I'm very impressed with it. |

What an interesting question. I have 5 devices not counting my pc and laptop.

The Samsung Galaxy III, does basically everything my Nook Tablet does both devices can be loaded wirelessly easily and are back-lit; good for indoor and night reading. Since I don't spend much time reading outside. I would say I read on these two devices the most. I don't play many games, but do use them for email and surfing. Of the other three devices, I use my PRS 700, which also allows me to read at night. I have to connect to my laptop via usb to load. Not convenient. My PRS 505 is used seldom, but used, however the battery needs to be replace. (I do not know how) Re the Nook classic - junk I don't use it at all. |

My kindle keyboard died a couple months ago so i've been reading exlusively on my tablet. The glossy screen can be really annoying in certain lighting conditions, but i just don't have the heart to buy another reader. I just can't believe she's gone. I keep thinking that i'm gonna wake up and she'll be there beckoning me with her hideous screen saver.

I have both a Kindle Paperwhite and an iPad 3 and I use my Kindle all the time for reading; whether I'm at home or outside. I've never read a novel on my iPad and I rarely use it when at home, I use it when I'm out and only to have access to the web, PDFs, apps, emails etc., never to read books.

Fair enough. I spend a lot of time outside, so sunlight visibility is an essential feature for me.

Bought my Samsung Tab because I got it on sale. I tried to read on it, changing the brightness, colour, contrast etc. etc. etc. No dice, still headachy.

Now it sits on my dresser out of juice while my 650 continues to see action every day. |

My Nook Color is history. It collects dust. My primary ereader is my Samsung Tab 2 followed by my Nook Touch. I us the NT when reading outside, no glare.

I use a tablet now, a Nook HD, for traveling to and from work simply because I write book reviews and can do that on the same device, but at home I still use my Kindle Paperwhite. I wouldn't want to use a tablet permanently, and its certainly no good for beach holidays, too much sun!

I actually wonder whether the biggest improvement from the k2i to the KPW was the change in screen savers. I try hard to picture the focus group that Amazon might of gone to that would ask for pictures of Harriet Stowe and Emily Dickinson. You couldn't even turn the damn pictures off!
