Love her older stuff, too. Her new stuff isn't bad, just not up to the standard she set for herself in the 90s. But I still read her. I have all of her books (both as Davis and Dare).

Sheik US DE by Connie Mason. Sheiks are not exactly my cup of tea, but happy reading to those who like them in romances!

Quote:
Princess Zara had been raised a warrior, always at her father's side in battle against the Arabs who had stolen their land. So when she's taken prisoner by Sheik Jamal abd Thabit during a raid, she was determined not to succumb to his wishes--a more difficult task than she would have ever believed. Torn between duty to her people and the temptations of her Arab master, Zara wondered if she dared risk all she had ever known and trust her heart to this enemy … Sheik.

I have zero complaints about the Blaze covers! the only other lines I ever look at are the Medical (boring covers usually) and Historical (models are repeated too often/close together). Oh and KISS - I like most of those covers. But I only get them as eBooks so I don't spend much time oogling the covers anyway.

I just saw on Dear Author this AM that they are accusing Jordin Williams of plagiarizing passages of Tammara Webber's very popular New Adult book, Easy. Jordin Williams' book is called Amazingly Broken. Passages were included from both books to show that the ones in Amazingly Broken were exactly the same as the ones in Easy. If you were thinking about buying Jordin's book, you might want to check out the accusation before you buy. Plagiarism is just plain wrong, so I'd hate to see a dishonest person profit off Tammara's really great book.

Yikes! Well, I guess she figured if it worked for them, it would work for her. Unfortunately, her book has already made her money, but if this really is true, hopefully a bunch of people will return it and the book will be pulled so she can't continue to profit on the back of other people's hard work.

I have HAD Amazingly Broken on my wishlist, and loved Easy by Tammara Webber so thank you for letting us know. Just went to dear author site, and WOW, that's terrible...

She says she's returning the money...we will see. she claims it was ghostwritten by a person from guru.com. I think she is lying. Her bio said she was a ghostwriter turned author. Crazy that she didn't think she would get caught.

Not my usual read either but it's Connie Mason so I grabbed it!. I love she is giving her books away each week. Many I have bought but this one wasn't on the list.

The Cove (FBI SERIES 01) by Catherine Coulter
Romantic Suspense
Publisher: Jove (April 1, 1996) Sold by Penguin.
Note: I loved this book! I got stuck on book three. Someday maybe I will go back and read the next one.

Quote:
Dear Reader:

The Cove is a quaint little postcard town made up only of old folk who sell the World's Greatest Ice Cream--a secret recipe that brings lots of tourists into town.

Into The Cove comes Sally Brainerd, daughter of murdered Amory St. John of Washington, D.C., seeking sanctuary, and FBI Special Agent James Quinlan who's undercover and after her. He's got a murder to solve, and he believes she's the key. But is she really?

Are you ready to strap yourself in for nonstop romantic suspense? I'm going to scare you; treat you to mysteries that will, hopefully, confound you; and have you smiling and nodding at an unlikely love story between two of the neatest people you'll ever meet.

Grab hold tight and come into a world where illusion becomes reality and truth is a disguise.

Let me know what you think of this contemporary, a novel I really enjoyed writing. Yes, I scared myself a couple of times.

This sort of problem is why the big authors read absolutely no fiction at all when they are writing (only reading when between projects and even then, you might get scenes stuck in your head).
