onyx m92 standby
After standby status, pressing any key cannot wake up the device from standby status, as the manual says.Please help me.

I do not want to press on/off button, i want to avoid this, i want pressing any key as the manual says, the on/off button is too hidden for me

Manual is outdated. Not everything in it is correct and lot is missing. I also wake it up using on/off button

I do not remember well, but in very past it was probably possible to wake-up using any key. It had undesired effect. One might it swich on when it was in closed cover. The pressure on cover switched on the device and even moved cursor, exited open document or did anything possible, but unwanted.

So, now only power swich works, which is IMO much better solution. The manual is very outdated....

they could have avoided the problem if they designed the joystick to be a five-way button that's flushed with the surface of the reader. but oh well. i'm wondering if they've learned from this or the next iteration will still have a joystick that sticks out beyond the surface.
