I'm such sucker for sports romances....

The Enforcer (NHL Scorpions) - Nikki Worrell

When I looked at this on Amazon and then 'the customers who bought also bought' section, i realized there are A LOT of hockey sports romances/series out there I would have thought baseball or football would be more popular but whatdoiknow??

Anybody have a favorite sports series (or stand alone)?

The sports series I keep looking at [but haven't bought because they're publisher = $10+ each] are Jaci Burton's 'Play by Play' series, all the covers are....beautiful.

I'm not big into Sports but I do read love racing especially NASCAR.

Some of my favorites are any of Pamela Britton racing books (Her book Playboy Prankster is my favorite), Erin McCarthy's Fast Track series, Roxanne St Claire's Dangerous Curves.
Harlequin has a whole line up dedicated to NASCAR though I own almost all of them I haven't read them. Another good racing book was Thrill of the Chase by Christina Crooks.

I just got a NA series about racing by Shey Stahl several months back. I have not read it yet.

I haven't gotten any of the Shey Stahl racing books, but have the rest. Please let me know what you think of them when you read them, I love her writing.

Jaci Burton has written mostly erotic romance to erotica so I expect them to be extra spicy as they are published by Berkley Heat which is their erotic romance line. I would put her up there with Lora Leigh's spice level when it comes to sex scenes.

Mmmm sports heroes (and I do not watch sports at all IRL!). I haven't read a many outside of HQN, but there have been some yummy ones in the HQN Blaze line... Joanne Rock had a nice family of hockey brothers!

And seriously the Power Play series... drool! But will not pay $10 a book for romances! I may have to break down and get them in paper. Which I did for the first time today in almost two years with the Jennifer Probst Marriage series - all three (new) for less than ONE eBook.

I buy paperbacks still. If the price is cheaper or no ebook version available, I have no problem getting the paper version.

AMEN!! Yes they are gorgeous covers! These books have been on my wishlist for a while, as soon as they go down somewhat, jumping all over this series. The covers are YUMMY with a big spoon - LOL!

I recently read and enjoyed Dangerous Race by Dee J Adams. The heroine is a race car driver. Not a sport I watch so no idea if she got details correct or not.

Jill Shalvis did a baseball series. Only two books so far. Double Play and Slow Heat. I enjoyed the second much more than the first, but they're worth a read.

And while technically not a sports romance, the hero in Love Irresistibly by Julie James played college football which plays a significant part in the book.
