Party lines eventually became adult chat lines advertised during the crappy movies shown on TV in the early AM hours. The ones you'd watch because you couldn't sleep.

The best couldn't sleep watching TV was when my wife and I had an apartment when we first got married. It was hot and humid. We both couldn't sleep so we were watching Batteries Not Included on DVD. I said I was hungry so at about 2am, we ordered a pizza and I walked to the pizza shop and got it. Sitting there together watching the movie and eating pizza. That was fun.

Great movie. One of the last that Jessica Tandy and Hume Cronin made together I believe.

I"m being taken to Outback......Yum!! Steak and baked potato, salad, cheesy fries and bloomin' onion..

Doesn't get any better than that....except when we come home ad I get to have some of my special birthday cke........Strawberry Passion.

Now if only the strawberry was chocolate then it would be yummy. I happen to not like strawberry. But I do love chocolate.

Now going to Outback...YUMMY! Last time I was at Outback, they made a mistake on my order. I was there for lunch and I ordered an 8oz sirloin and not the 6oz lunch size. They brought me the 6oz lunch size. So instead of taking it back for the 8oz, they brought me another 6oz and only charged for the 6oz. 12oz instead of 8oz. That was very OK with me.
