SteveEisenberg - I listened to "The Power Broker" as an unabridged audiobook from Audible. The production lasted just over 66 hours! That's the longest audiobook I've ever listened to. The narrator did an excellent job of keeping you interested throughout the entire book.

Back in Feb/March I bought C.J. Cherryh's Downbelow Station for a book group. I couldn't find it as an ebook.

This past Tuesday. My computer was fried in a lightning storm and the new computer came with Win8.

So I bought Win8 for Dummies. Thought about the ebook, but for a technical book [technical to me anyway] I wanted something I could easily fan/flip through.

Yesterday I purchased a remaindered Tom Perrotta HC from Amazon for $2.80.

I read pbooks regularly, about 1 for every 2 ebooks I read.

April 27, husband and I went on to a new bookstore in Ann Arbor, and I purchased 4 books. I've also purchased a few paper books that were not available in e format, or were reference books - I don't like using reference books in e format - it's too hard to browse the book and look things up.

Last week, I ordered Vol. 11 of Girl Genius from Book Depository. However, that's a comic book.

I had not bought a paper book since 2010 when I got my first Kindle.....until Stephen King decided his new book Joyland will only be released in paperback. Just got notice today from Amazon that it shipped....don't know how I'll handle reading a paper book again.
