You are absolutely incorrect and are helping to spread a false rumor. One of Kobo's product managers (who posts regularly) has already dispelled this rumor in another thread. Please get your facts straight.

Buttons would not necessarily increase the cost to the consumer. And even if it did, a model choice with a slightly higher price tag for those who want it would not be a impossible situation. Not everyone buys the highest capacity iPad, either....

Ummmm, just because he claims to be or is a product manager doesn't mean he cannot lie. From my experience in the software industry, product managers are no more trustworthy than lawyers and car salespersons!

I agree with jswinden. I also think your post was a little over the top. I dislike people spreading rumors as fact, but I think you really could have pointed that out without being so harsh.

The flexible screens are much more interesting, but unless they can make truly revolutionary device with fully folding/rolling-up screen so the device when closed is the size of a smartphone/pencil - again I don't see that happening.

Agreed. I would instantly upgrade from a Kindle 3 to something like that, though I do like the black color scheme.

I would like to see a return of the physical home screen button, and the ability to skip to the next/previous chapter by swiping up/down -- both features present in the Kindle Touch, which is why I still have mine from 3 years ago.
