Adding notes to a file, then convert it to an ebook and be able to read it in Kindle

Hi!
Well hopefully there is a way to do what i want. I want to add some notes for a book (format pdf and doc) in my computer and then convert it to any kind of ebook format my kindle touch is able to read, but having these notes visible to my kindle touch.

Hopefully this doesn't sound as strange as i think it does, imagine a book kind of like "The Divine Comedy", which needs a lot of notes to understand the book, so reading it in my kindle while being able to see the notes for each word or phrase (when needed) would be just fabulous!

aquazula, My thought is that you will need to put your notes inline in the text - set off by brackets maybe or a different color. Then upload to your Kindle. I can't think of another way for notes or comments to appear.

I'd go with just a .txt file, which the Kindle can read without conversion. If you want to transfer via USB, drop the file in the documents folder on the Kindle.
