This NA one was recommended on Facebook. It's 99 cents Had me at Latin hero.

I think as more mainstream authors try to cross over to NA it will get better but right now it was a brave endeavor to release a NA novel. Sooner or later the lines will become blurred between the two.

Thanks! If a plot grabs me I will read it. I just could never become a reviewer who reads only to review. No thank you. I love shifter books, always have.

Debating if I should get Sandra Brown's Breath of Scandal at B&N 50% sale this weekend.

Just finished My Dearest Friend by Hazel Statham, and I really enjoyed it. A reformed rake and a strong woman. My favorites!

I bought another at Kobo of hers using a coupon. Good thing hubby isn't awake yet to see this.
Thanks, Blossom. I enjoy time travel and I enjoy Civil War stories so this sounds right up my alley.

Today was a beautiful day, so with windows open I tackled some spring cleaning using FBReader's TTS function & Catherine Bybee's "Not Quite Dating" (not free or a Bargain but I enjoy her books). Nothing like a good listen to keep me cleaning (course I could've listened to something Audible-related but I'd started the book yesterday...).

I really appreciate everybody posting new finds [Loosheesh and Blossom, I bought Elite by Rachel Van Dyken last night just because you were both so excited about it, didn't even preview it, just pressed 'buy now'.
And now I'm reading 'The Bet', and enjoying it. So please, when you find out about new releases that sound great and you're excited about, continue to post them here too!
I just completed The Bet and I liked it a whole lot! It's very funny (Grandma Nadine is a scream!) and sweet. There are a couple of implausibilities with the timeline/the guys' ages that had my suspension of disbelief going 'huh' but I was able to overlook them I was laughing so hard. Be sure to read the epilogue from the author's site (Blossom mentioned it upthread); it's a hoot and super-cute.

Good to know about True; I'm now torn between it and Elite as my next up book (While I'm deciding, I'm finishing up Irene Hannon's Lethal Legacy to finish up the Guardians of Justice series )

I am slowly catching up on the podcasts I think I'm on the 22nd one now. I am OCD and must listen in order.
I've only read 3 KAs so far and I agree totally with your assessment, especially regarding the heroes. They're so OTT, LOL.

I used to follow the DBSA podcast religiously but I missed a couple episodes and before I knew it I was totally behind and it's hard to find the time to catch up. I can't just start over just anywhere; I must continue from where I left off. Stupid OCD

Blossom, a heads-up on the Synithia Williams books. If you can get You Can't Plan Love, try to read it before Worth the Wait. There is no indication that it's a series but the hero in YCPL is the brother of the hero in WtW, and his (the brother's) story happens before WtW. Also, her third book (A Heart to Heal), coming out in May, is about the best friends of both the hero and heroine in WtW. Have I confused you yet? I only realized the order after I was halfway through WtW

Just finished Broken at Love by Lyla Payne and thoroughly enjoyed it. Very well written IMO and I would recommend it. She's gone on my auto buy list.

It's still $.99 if you're interested, blurb and link:

When a knee injury ends twenty-year-old Quinn Rowland’s pro tennis career, he’s not only dumped by his hot Russian girlfriend but ordered to attend college by his disinterested billionaire father. A rich kid who’s not used to being disappointed by life, Quinn and his sociopathic half-brother Sebastian create a frat house game intended to treat girls how they see them—as simple game pieces to be manipulated for their pleasure.

College sophomore Emilie Swanson knows Quinn’s reputation—after all, he did send one of her sorority sisters into therapy earlier in the semester—but the game and his charm bring them closer together and soon she starts to believe there’s more to Quinn than people think.

But what if the more is something darker than a game of toying with emotions and breaking hearts?

Hmmm. I'm not having good luck with coupon codes lately. It's telling me the coupon code has expired already. Off to email customer service...

The one I got in the email was BOGO0413. Neither work for me.

No HQN code for me either. Someone was complaining on their FB page about the code not working... they don't usually have coupon problems - that's a bit of a bummer.
