A couple of Fire HD questions
1. Does Fire HD Kindle app display 'active table of contents'?

2. Fire uses Ivona for TTS. Can you install additional Ivona voices (from Google Play if need be) and are there settings to control which is used for which language, as on Android tablets generally?

Amazon hardcodes their settings, so even if you did install the additional voices, there would be no way to actually activate them because they wouldn't appear.

That's too bad. But since they own Ivona, they could presumably make those available at some point (especially as Fire goes international). On my Android tablet I like to set different English inflections for TTS (British, Australian etc.).
