Cover Question.

Apologies if this has been covered. Went through the forum, and whilst I found questions about covers, couldn't find one that addressed my needs.

Here's my issue: I've just started converted ebooks to Mobi format using Calibre. I write the HTML myself and, on occasion, use Sigil to clean it up.

When I upload my book to Calibre, everything comes out fine. The cover is also there on display.

Then I convert the book to Mobi.

When I check the book on the Kindle (PC) program, the cover does not appear in the library preview. It's still in the actual book itself when I open the book, but just doesn't come out on the library preview.

Is there something I'm missing here? Or is Calibre incapable of inserting a cover for library preview?

Quick query -- the Calibre mobi file is one/third the size of the KindleGen mobi. Why's that?
