It's faster than Lendle on super popular books.

Maryse's blog, Facebook and twitter is how this became super popular. I'm sure there other blogs out there but it seems anything she promotes as good turns gold rather quickly.

I highly recommend this series.
I took a look at the sample but the dialogue is too modern for my taste. It's scary to think so many historical romances sounding so modern specially those set in the regency era.

Ah I was just told these type of historical romances have a name. They are called Wallpaper Historicals. Now if someone just a had list of authors that write these...

I enjoyed "A Week to be Wicked". I haven't read the others.

You're welcome! I took the time to read the sample, I'm torn. I hate paying even $4 for a book but I've a feeling with all the buzz this will be one of those that jumps in price eventually, and it's only at Amazon so can't coupon it at Kobo. Maybe I'll see how I feel tomorrow. LOL

Hmm, I don't do FB or Twitter and Lord knows I spend enough time scouring the internet for book deals and such, not sure I want to get caught up in a blog. I did snoop over there though, it's funny because all her top books for 2012, I either loved or hated [most I did agree with]. I don't know what that means! LOL Anyways I gather she's popular but why does she have so much pull? She must be the go-to-book-blog-guru? D

Facebook is great place to keep up with authors specials. It's no longer just a place to keep in contact with family and friends. I use Facebook just for authors, deals and promotion. Like a RSS feed but personal because the posts comes directly from my favorite authors, publishers or blog people. I don't do twitter. I just don't get it. *shrugs*

For NA and Indie romance she is that Guru. I miss the freebies she use to post because she is really good at picking out from the slush pile. Her blog is super popular over at the Amazon Romance forums that how I found her blog. I think every book I read she recommended I have liked so I can understand the pull.

I follow several Romance blogs it's how I stay on top of everything in the romance world.

I started following Aestas Book Blog recently and she's pretty gushy about almost everything she reviews so I was surprised at her review for Real. I had it on price-watch and I'd requested a loan through Lendle but when I saw her review I got rid of both the price-watch and the loan request.

Thanks for the link. I think I will wait. I am reading Killing Time by Cindy Gerard and had At Last by Jill Shalvis next and Thoughtless after that. So I am really glad to wait.
