If you're talking about SyFy's Dresden Files TV show, it's indeed dead (cancelled in 2007), just not forgotten as I along with other die-hards have the DVD set and re-visit it every year (or so).

We finally have our answer, and it’s just as we suspected: the Dresden Files TV show has been canceled. Read more about the decision at TV Guide.com.
While we wish SciFi could have decided differently, we’re still grateful for the twelve great episodes that aired earlier this year. Largely thanks to the TV show, book sales tripled, and no doubt more new fans will continue to discover the series through reruns and the DVDs. Speaking of which, the DVDs will be released this Tuesday! Buy them here on Amazon.com.
Additionally, fans of Paul Blackthorne will be cheered to learn that he has joined the cast of ABC’s Big Shots.

So, how many days till the rumored release date? I know at least one of you is counting. (I would be, but I've had so much going on I can't even keep track of my own to-do list.)

That would be Pookeysgirl who is counting and who posted on 03-28-2013 that 250 days remained till the [rumored] release of Skin Game!!! This was based on Nyssa's original post about finding a release date of December 3rd 2013 in FictFact. This would, I believe, make it 240 days left as of today.

I always have enjoyed these trivial facts concerning the TV series. Paul Blackthorne who played Harry Dresden (with an American accent) is British and Terrence Mann, who played Bob, 'Hrothbert of Bainbridge' (with a British accent) is from Kentucky! Also actress Rebecca McFarland played Susan Rodriguez and Valerie Cruz played Murphy!
