I just checked Amazon, and some of the books that were part of the big sale have not yet gone back up in price, although the B&N sale has ended. They will probably go back to the regular price sometime today, but if there were any books that you didn't buy in the sale this weekend, you may still be able to get them this morning - just make sure to check the price before you one-click.

You know Three to Get Deadly never got price matched. I had to buy it at the Nook store. I'm glad the sale is over. lol. I spent way too much money! I haven't splurge like that since Fictionwise big coupon days.

I'm quite proud... I restrained myself to about $60. The best was that I remembered the $45 in gift cards I had for Amazon!!! So I actually only spent about $15 - which is probably almost maybe normal for a weekend for me... or not. My total would have been a lot higher but there were more than a handful that I already had - and I'm pretty sure I got them cheaper anyway.

I was really tempted to get the Stephanie Plums but since I already have them all in paper, I decided to spend the money filling other series... specifically Jill Shalvis and Lora Leigh (shhhh, I know, but she's hot if you can suspend belief some)
Oh I love Jill Shalvis. Not just her books but the person. She is something else. Her books though are great! Autobuy for me. I think Shadow Hawk though is my favorite book by her. Don't let the Blaze imprint fool you. It should of never been published under Blaze it is a Harlequin Romantic suspense all the way.

What can I say about Lora Leigh. She was my first ebook author. I love her breed series! I'm on Dawn's Awakening. (Yes way behind) No one can write erotic romance scenes better. Her Special Ops series is quite good too. I cried alot reading Wildcard though there was so much backstory I didn't understand. It turns out it's a spin off her Navy Seals series. So being OCD I have to go back and reread it someday.

Kerira can be frustrating at times but she does grow give it a bit into the story. I have to admit I loved Griff from the start. He cracks me up.

I'm on a very strict book budget, so last night, I went through my mountainous TBR pile to convince myself not to buy any more books in the sale. Unfortunately, when I saw that the prices were still good this morning, I lost my resolve and bought a few more. It's a sickness, I tell you!

Free at B&N: Daughter of the Loom byTracie Peterson, Judith Miller

Book 1 of THE BELLS OF LOWELL. The mill town of Lowell, Massachusetts, comes to life with intrigue and drama from the creative writing team of Judith Miller and Tracie Peterson. Young women at the end of the 19th century seek employment from driven men intent on transforming America's textile industry. Daughtersof the Loom features Lilly Armbruster, who is forced to work in the mills as her only means for survival. But Lilly's resentment runs deep against the "lords of the loom"--the men she believes have stolen her father's farm and caused his premature death. Her animosity happens to include Matthew Cheever, her childhood friend and one-time betrothed. Though separated by their opposing views about the future of the mill and the community that surrounds it, the emotions of their hearts still bind them. Will their dreams for the future allow their fragile love to survive?

This is a series I keep putting off because I have read that the author is breaking her own World rules! The past M/F couples who are bonded I read the recent books refer to some of the guys having M/M relations. I know the current book couple is M/M which I have nothing against but it's just not my thing to read about.

I own the first four 4 books in Audible too.

I was doing well, until I saw the Wheel of Time series, which has been on my wishlist for a while, to replace the ultra heavy tomes in the set. Had to get a new gift card to finish out the sale.

A few titles I wanted to read (once) were available at the library, where I added to my wishlist, instead, which kept the carnage down to a manageable level.

I bought the rest of the Shalvis Lucky Harbor series (already owned the first three). My favorite series by her is Animal Magnetism. I still have a dozen or so of her category books to read from the $4 off sale Harlequin had, but I'm caught up on her single titles series with the exception of Lucky Harbor (I've only read book 1).

Her books are hit or miss for me, but mostly hit so she is an autobuy.

Quick question, is there a similar list for gay & lesbian romances? Because all of these are standard m/f, as far as I can see. Nice for Mom & Sis but just not my cuppa. Thanks. :-)
