Questions about <Title>
From the menu bar, under Tools Metadata Editor--
I entered the title of my book here, when I started my book, and it has been used in all new xhtml documents. That's fine. But then I changed the title, and now all new xhtml documents continue to use the old title. Am I doing something wrong, or should I report this as an Issue. |

How did you make it do that? I never get anything automatically put in <title></title>, whatever's in te metadata!

I just ran a test on a new document. Yes. That's odd. Now the <title></title> tag is ending up blank, no matter how many documents I add.

Does any reader pick up <title> and use it as a page header? Sometimes I'm asked for this. If it EVER works it could be worth including to keep a client happy, even if most readers won't display it. :-)

I know of no epub reader that uses <title>.
Of course it's trivial to put something relevant in there, so I usually do. |
