It was cold and miserable down here all day too. Sunny the rest of the week, but still in the 40s and 50s.

Not a bad day for a lo-ooo-ong drive. And the weatherman put off our "precipitation event" by a few hours, so I pulled up the the driveway under cloudy, but snow-free, skies!

I'm still waiting to see how bad Monday will be, though. It's the only day I have to drive anywhere.

We had a truly impressive snow "storm" this morning -- I couldn't see the street from my front window! It left a thick layer of snow on the ground and tree branches -- and lasted several hours.

It's just cold mud, now.

Pouring rain on Sunday
Warm Monday

Then back to "pseudo-Spring" - highs in the 50's, lows in the 30's F .... for the week.

It's another beautiful looking day on the other side of the window. Bright sun and just a few clouds.

But those clouds are racing across the sky. A cold front just came through. It's chilly outside right now, but the wind makes it feel much colder.

Regardless, I'm easing into my evening walks. I usually walk at night and as long as there's no ice out there I can just bundle up and go.

Pouring rain - since noon - going to rain all night - maybe even some sleet, etc! Last gasp of winter! Then a huge warm-up this weekend & next week into the 70's F -- maybe even 80 F! Dare to dream!

*memo to self: file the cold weather complaints and pull out the hot weather complaints*

^Sure it is. -12C and -21C windchill with an expected high of -7C. I'ts a nice day, for the beginning of February.
