I've read several books by Laura Kaye and Cherrie Lynn and enjoyed them all. Be warned, Cherrie Lynn's can be quite explicit, Laura Kaye's I'd say just 'steamy'. I bought all of hers but haven't read them all yet.
I love Laura Kaye! I got hooked on her reading Heart of Darkness. It got me through a very stressful visit with my inlaws. Another book it's YA but really good is Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles. I got the audible of Slammed. I bought a NA two week ago I think it was Wait for You by J. Lynn. Someone compared it to Easy. So I am all for reading it. It's only $2.99

I put it in eReaderIQ, hoping for the same thing! I noticed Wounded, another book by the same author, came out in December and was $0.99 for one week in January, before it went back to $3.99; I'm hoping the same thing will happen for Falling Into You. I almost bought it yesterday at Kobo but I was able to talk myself away from the final buy button

I know what you mean about Cherrie Lynn, having read Leave Me Breathless I haven't read anything by Laura Kaye; will check her out, and Flat Out Love also. I read On Dublin Street, but didn't like it all that much.

I bought and read Wait for You just some days ago. From the setting and what happens with the heroine (though the two situations are very different), I can understand why it was compared to Easy. I found the maturity level of WfY to be more on the side of young adult than new adult, but I did enjoy it, though the heroine gave me fits sometimes. I just wished the quality was more on par with Easy; as I noted over at Goodreads, I'd be surprised if the book saw any editing after the author was done with it

I found Easy to be just okay. It wasn't really a romance and was slow at times. Maybe if I hadn't just read Beautiful Disaster first I would of liked it more but I do like the college plot from BD so I am always looking for something to match it. Easy was similar just not quite as good as BD.

Signet Regency Romance!

The Earl's Revenge by Allison Lane
Book One. Book two is here

Quote:

The Runaway Bride

Elaine Thompson prayed she would never see the Earl of Bridgeport again. She had been barely past girlhood when she fled a forced marriage to this libertine lord who had wanted a wife only to produce an heir. Now, she was a strong and independent woman who shuddered as she heard stories of the earl's increasingly infamous womanizing and scandalous scorn of morality.

Little did Elaine dream that Bridgeport would find her in the remote corner of England where she thought herself so safe. Even less did she expect that he would hunger for satisfaction for the injury she had done to his pride by abandoning him at the altar. But Elaine vowed never to yield to the iron strength or seductive wiles of this man who had made eager playthings of so many willing women--even when the revenge that this irresistible rake sought turned out to be sinfully sweet....
I've been going through my box of Signet Regency Romances and adding the ebook version to my wishlist as the books are falling apart and I like to get rid of the ones I can get in digital...So if I find more deals I will post them. Anyone else out there that like these types books? I am finding them perfectly reads for when I need something lighthearted and quick

I do! I never used to enjoy the old regencies but recently I've found them to be just the thing when I'm in the mood for something rather quick and uncomplicated.

Yes, loved Hearts in Darkness by Laura Kaye! That's what got me hooked on her, I just love her writing style.

J. Lynn, IIRC is her pen name for 'adult' books, and for young adult she writes under Jennifer L. Armentrout. I read the 3 books of the 'Lux' series and really enjoyed them. [I think book 4 in that series comes out this summer which I will be getting].

How funny, I did the same thing! I'm very tempted to just buy it already, I've looked at it so many times! If I get a chance today I'm going to read the preview and just make up my mind!

I bought WFY but haven't read it yet. But I really loved Easy by Tamarra Webber. Also, regarding J. Lynn, I just replied to Blossom about her alternate pen names.

Something About You by Julie James is on sale for $1.99 (a rare Penguin sale) at Amazon and probably everywhere else.
Quote:
Of all the hotel rooms rented by all the adulterous politicians in Chicago, female Assistant U.S. Attorney Cameron Lynde had to choose the one next to 1308, where some hot-and-heavy lovemaking ends in bloodshed. And of all the FBI agents in Illinois, it had to be Special Agent Jack Pallas who gets assigned to this high-profile homicide. The same Jack Pallas who still blames Cameron for a botched crackdown three years ago—and nearly ruining his career…

…INTO EACH OTHER’S ARMS

Work with Cameron Lynde? Are they kidding? Maybe, Jack thinks, this is some kind of welcome-back prank after his stint away from Chicago. But it’s no joke: the pair is going to have to put their rocky past behind them and focus on the case at hand. That is, if they can cut back on the razor-sharp jibes—and smother the flame of their sizzling-hot sexual tension…

Born to Be Wild by Patti Berg
(Contemporary Romance)
Formally Published by Avon Romance in 2001
Sequel can be found here

Quote:
Take a Walk on the Wilde Side

High society wedding planner Lauren Remington is determined to prove her family wrong and make a success of her business, but a last minute disaster brings a glorious end to all her grand plans. Desperate for help, her only hope is Max Wilde, a man whose rugged leather-clad body is almost as dangerous as his sleek black Harley. Max may be everything Lauren's mother warned her about, but desperate times call for desperate measures... providing she can convince him to take the job.

Max isn't sure why he agreed to help save Lauren's shapely derriere, especially when one tilt of her blue-blooded nose is enough to get his back up. There's just something about the way Lauren's curvy body snuggles up against his that feels RIGHT, and he'd kill to see her out of her Chanel suit and into tight red leather. And he has to admire the way she doesn't shy away from his foster kids and their rough-and-tumble friends. Still, Max knows that his wrong-side-of-the-tracks background could never fit in Lauren's high society world... but somewhere deep behind the lady lies a woman born to be wild.
Grab this! I have it in paperback and it was a Kindle Deal of the Day not too long ago. I am ecstatic to get it for free!

Indies!

Bonded (Prequel to The Mating) by Nicky Charles

The Mating (Law of the Lycans 01) by Nicky Charles

The rest of the series is still $0.99 cents. Nicky is trying to get the price of them free. These are not pirated copies. She has finally decided to let her books be at Amazon. You can do some price reporting it would help make them free faster.

If you have not heard of her. She writes Paranormal Romance for free. It's a hobbie for her and her books are Big 6 publish worthy. I highly recommended her books! They are also at Smashwords and Nook store for free.

She has alot of her backlist available digitally but there are $4 a piece. I think it's a big high for the size of the book. I think $2.99 is the perfect price but anything lower is better of course.

I love her writing style too. I've bought every book she has out. So excited she got picked up by a mainstream publisher.

I knew J. Lynn wrote YA under another pen names and I've heard of the Lux series. I'm not a big YA reader but sometimes I am in the mood for it.
