hmmmm....let me see.... Done working in Word: 1) run Toxaris' Macro 2) click on Word doc 3) ctrl-A (select all) 4) ctrl-C (copy...or whatever weird command those fruit lovers use ) 5) click in book view of new sigil doc 6) ctrl-V (Paste) 7) Put final touches on sigil document 8) Save as clean ePub OR .... all that other stuff with multiple proofreads and corrections, etc., etc., etc. I know which one I'd pick! |

Having said that.....I would ONLY use Word if I absolutely had to...ie the doc is already created in Word, or you are an author and that is how you create your masterpiece. Word does a good job with the whole word processing thing...it just sucks when it tries to save as HTML. Otherwise I would just work in Sigil from the beginning. |

You can shorten your routine... 1) Run my macro (including the last action: save!) 2) Close Word (and do no save) 3) Start Sigil 4) import exported HTML file from macro 5) put in final touches when required 6) save as ePUB |
