I actually read the unabridged book in French when I was still young and at university. To tell the truth, I am not even tempted to try the audiobook nowadays - while the story is good, it is also very very long-winded. (I liked it at the time, though.)

The Picture of Dorian Grey is one of my favourite classics. This narrator sounds good in the sample, but I have the version narrated by Simon Prebble, it's excellent.

The narrator (Steven Crossley) is the same one who narrates Connie Willis's To Say Nothing of the Dog, and he is very good. I have a German version of the book from Audible.de, but I still downloaded this one because of the narrator.
