Since I was close previously I'll say 16 UNESCO sites and 4 removed.

Right, off to bed soon, so I'll throw this one out and mark your homework tomorrow.
Inspired by HIMS largest cities in Canada question, please name the five largest (by population) cities in the following countries/areas. Actually, as the largest in each case is pretty obvious, name the numbers 2 - 6. 1. UK 2. France 3. Latin America 4. Germany 5. Italy Loads of points up for grabs. Good luck! (I'm sure that there are many sources of this information that you may have seen. They may not all correspond with each other - but my decision is final!) 4. Berlin, with about three and a half million people. Peak population was around 4.5 MM toward the end of WW 2. Even with reunification and relocation of the capital to this city, Berlin is slow growing. That is a blessing in disguise.

So for the UK we are missing number 3? I can't imagine what it is that would be larger in population than Manchester or Liverpool.
Newcastle? |
