Me too . I agree with everything Tom said, having just read my first pbook for a while, particularly the font size thing. I find at night in bed my eyes tend to tear up a bit, and I find reading harder. Being able to adjust font size makes all the difference, as I find squinting and having to reread sentences rather breaks to flow of the narrative. |

(I'll put some wood on the fire in this discussion...... ) I partly agree with Tom Sharpe and Orlok, but for other reasons I think. Being on the road a few months a year, I cannot and will not take physical books with me as they are too heavy. Since 5 years I put my reading on an ereader. But I buy lots of physical books as well. This 'bad weather sunday' (snow again ) I'm happily sitting at my kitchen table with a cup of coffee and surrounded by books. I buy them secondhand or new; this month's: Mapping the Silk Road and beyond. Kenneth Nebenzahl Uzbekistan, the golden road to Samarkand. Calum Mc.Leod Xinjiang, China's Central Asia. Jeremy Trednick Bejing Walks, exploring the heritage. Don J.Cohn Great Wall of China, Beijing and Northern China. Tammy Evans Asia Overland, tales of travel on the Trans-Siberian& Silk Road. Bijan Amrani Lonely Planet China and Lonely Planet Central-Asia I buy both kinds of books, for different reasons. I wouldn't like to have a travel guide on my ereader/iPad. I like exploring, browsing in books, looking at the pictures, going in the bookshops to see what's new. I collect ancient books as well. I am a kind of omnivore in reading, so I don't mind bad formatting of ebooks...I just read on....and I don't mind bad light or such. These days I feel that I have the best of both, especially since I won an ereader in the MR-wintercontest and yes Tom, I have an beautiful (Oberon)cover for it. The only advantage I've found with pbooks is the ability to buy used/out of print ones.

I have discovered the glory that is the Boogie Wipe. Saline moistened kleenex. Great for the baby but great for Mommy as well.

We've been fans of "Lotion Tissue" brand of tissues ever since I thought my nose was going to fall off due to sneezing and blowing. A little more expensive than the dry tissue, but oh so soft and gentle on this old nose... I don't know just what the moisturizer is in these things, but it's worth its weight in gold! Stitchawl |

Why does the 'chat now' annoying fake person on sales sites always show up when you don't want to, but then when you do, they are suspiciously absent?
