Kindle4PC Won't Open

Once upon a time I installed Kindle4PC on my computer and I downloaded my purchased books, imported them into Calibre, and transferred them to my Sony Reader. I was very happy!

I had no idea it was a one-time-only action.

I have not been able to get the application to open since then. Whenever I double-click my desktop icon, nothing happens. I have gone through the start menu (in case my shortcut was broken) and that doesn't work either.

Are there any troubleshooting tips I can try or do I need to uninstall/reinstall it?

You have an old version of K4PC installed. It stopped working about a year ago. Install the current version and all should be well.

That sounds simple enough!

I thought when I downloaded it the first time, the Calibre tools wouldn't work with the newest so I had to get an older version. I didn't realize how much time has passed since then.
