Loved the commercial. That was extremely funny.

pshrynk, your singing sounded perfect to me. The backup singers in my head probably helped a little, but it's all good.

I'm going to spend the day seeing how many repair projects I can complete ... and working. Love hand tools and power tools. Actually, just plain love tools.

It looks like more rain today ... and that's perfect for repair projects ... and reading in bed. May do some of that too.

I'm amazed I'm not hung over from last night. I'm tired and a little bleary, but other than that, I'm doing fairly well.

What did you drink? The two things that work for me in preventing hangovers are making sure I hydrate, and sticking to one kind of tipple (single malt scotch, in my case). If I do that, I'm fine. If I don't, I get pointed reminders that I should have.

A couple of bottles of really good white wine. Sadly, I'm a bit of a lightweight when it comes to drinking. One glass is enough to get me seriously buzzed.

I did have a couple of large glasses of water in there somewhere. However, I'm still just worn out this morning. Here it is passed 10 and I haven't even started my morning chores. That's a sure sign that I'm knackered.

You wouldn't like my cure for hangovers, quit drinking. I mostly gave it up in college and might have a glass of wine once a year or so. But, that's just me -- I don't enjoy it. My wife says that leaves more for her.

I thought men stayed stuck at 10. Mine sure did. With an occasional 13 in there.

Right now I'm getting ready to walk across town to buy books for my two graduate classes. Paper books, of course, though I did actually find one available as a for-fee download PDF or free to read online (!) so I won't buy that one.

At this exact moment I am preparing my "to do" list for tomorrow. My modem has been under the weather for the past few days, but rather than buy a new one, I repaired the old one today. That put me behind in some of my other projects .... which continue.

Relaxing after a day of writing Government type stuff. Checking up/on/in MobileRead. Posting at the moment (surprise!) Next I may catch an episode of "Adventures of Brisco County, Jr." on In2TV. That was a great one-season wonder -- a scifi western set in 1893.

Must be nice to need 'heating'. We're still melting here in Arizona. However, I will think of you in January February, when our temps are in the mid 70's and yours are in the minus 7's!
