How can you be sad you have to work? Think of all the poor people in China who don't have jobs! (Think of the poor people outside my building who don't have jobs!) And they would die to have yours, young man! Now get busy and clean your... uh, schedule!

Well, I only have to work this afternoon, because we had a bit of a cold snap last week and we started to think about the heating system, at which point I said, "Do you suppose that we ought to get the plumber here to put that radiator back in which we removed last spring to re-do the bathroom?" Looking at the place where it belongs, I concluded that there would be a) a mess and b) a pissed off wife if I tried to start the boiler without said plumbing assistance. Therefore, I am watching a guy with a thankfully long shirt run around in my house.
