Extra Charge on Audible?

I purchased an audiobook on Audible for $1.99 because I bought the eBook through amazon.

I check my bank account and the $1.99 is there, plus a $.99 charge. Anyone know what this could be? I only see $1.99 on my invoice.

Is it a pending charge or has it been fully processed? My only thought would be that it's a 'hold' which companies sometimes do to verify a CC is good. Hold's should show up as pending charges and then disappear without being actually processed.

If that's not it, they do have 24/7 phone support so giving them a call might be worthwhile...

Which is odd....it's the same credit card I've used for every transaction with them. But I bet you are right. It's probably a pending charge that will fall off when it goes through, didn't think about that!

It is odd if it's the card you always use there, but it's the only explanation I could think of.
