9.17 update
I have a Imac and on 10.8.2. I tried to download the 9.17 update and got the following message: Can't open format not recognized. I have been updating all along and have not had problems. Any solutions?

Sounds like a corrupted download.

Successwas able to down load 9.17
went to the alternative download site and was able to successfully download 9.17 on my iMac
