Mobiperl   lost when converting to mobi

So is with or without end tag for <p> the "correct" thing to use in MobiPocket?

I will probably add a warning about older version of the package. These kind of problems is why I do not lika binary versions.

I don't know, it probably doesn't matter (the Cybook renders both fine, anyway). Is there a way to see the actual content in a mobipocket file without converting it to HTML?

Personally, I think keeping the </p> is cleaner and easier to parse if needed. Here, at the bottom, there is an example of <p>...</p>.

The raw content is nearly HTML and you can see it with "mobi2html --rawhtml in.mobi > raw.html"

Actually, the windows version is compiled with version 3.23 of HTML::Treebuilder.pm, which uses the same expression as 3.21.

I seem to have version 3.23-1 on my debian unstable machine.
