Set value of another column from composite?
Hi,
I would like to set the value of the "readorder" series-like field to "A" when the value of the "shelf" column changes to "To Read", and delete the value when "shelf" column is "Read". I'm thinking of putting a "program: " into a composite field that compares and sets values, but I can't seem to figure out how to assign a value to another field. Is this possible? Or is there a better way? Thanks! |

It isn't possible for a template program to modify another field.
You can use column coloring or column icons to change the readorder field according to the value in the composite field. This would give you visual indication without changing the readorder field's value, which might be sufficient. |
