Still not a single lockup without SD-card. I had my battery run flat once (scary when you see it for the first time ).
I have a few custom fonts installed and use the Georgia font family (thats the standard installed, isn't it?)

Lockups at boot time are usually to do with timing issues on computers. It is a software solvable issue. Different configurations, SD cards, etc can cause the hardware to react slightly slower and given the boot sequence is optomised to go as quickly as possible tiny delays can then cause a problem.

And yet Bookeen don't seem to be able to mimic these problems on my unit that they have asked to do tests on....

As I have started again reading regularly on the Cybook, I don't see lockups at boot as often.
This is pretty strange, but it would seem that reading a few pages and using the Cybook regularly reduces the frequency of the lockups ....

Let's hope that the problem will be solved by the new firmware, so we don't have these freezes anymore.

It ( Build 796) may well solve these issues. I don't know as I've only had it running for the last two hours. I must admit the update from Build 538 to Build 796 went quite smooth on my 64MB Cybook.
