I've read the 1st book in the 3rd series. It was interesting and in spots a bit slow. But as a whole, it has the potential to pick up. I do have the 2nd book. It's on my 650 to be read as the first book I start in February.

I like the idea of Nyssa trying to read Finnegan's Wake. Maybe the most unreadable book of all time.

There is also one that perverts a classic tale, 50 Shades of Alice in Wonderland. You could try that if the perverted chicken is not all that good.

Next is one from Baen's February Bundle (no longer available as a bundle). I'm going to read through my purchases being going on to backlog. So: Necessity's Child by Sharon Lee and Steve Miller

I just discovered this place and I love the recommendations. I am currently reading 'The Historian' by Elizabeth Kostova and I am slowly being pulled into the plot. |

I'm just about to begin a re-read of Homer's "Illiad." For some reason, the voice of 'Siri' on my phone makes me think of Helen... Stitchawl |
