And to put the record straight, I read the first page of HP1 (whoops); did not like it.
I read the first two chapters of War and Peace, again I didn't like it....

But Hey, others do/did....let them enjoy....

I'll read what I want to without anyone saying otherwise....

We all read a lot here. Whether a book is bad or good is subjective. WE all know that. So, I would not take anyone's opinion on a book or "blanket statement" as a personal insult. but that is me. To each his own.

Er, the Scots are British. As are the Welsh and the English, too. Technically, I don't think that the Northern Irish are - Northern Ireland is a part of the United Kingdom, but not part of Great Britain.

Harry, you are utterly correct. However when working for a certain Scottish Telco and making a very similar comment I was disabused of this idea by several vociferous Scots. At length & then reminded on a regular basis for several months following. :-)
