That would worry me. I have never had any light issues with my PW, and it's been getting hours of use daily last November.

I'd be worried if it wasn't for the fact that it happened to my previous PW's and others on here have mentioned it as well. Basically sometimes when I open the case the light won't go on, but then it corrects itself when I close and reopen. I think it's happened maybe 3 times.

It's magnet align issue. I'm sure. So not the PW but the Case causing it.
