The thought of two different libraries had occurred to me. But mobileread own the Patricia Clark Memorial Library, so it didn't sound quite correct that either. Will a public library not close on Christmas Eve? Here in Norway everything closes before 5 PM, but I have no idea how the customs are "abroad". I though it could be a good idea to clear this up in public so that the different languages or customs in this community is not a barrier to participate. Where would the hall be then? In some books I've read, they have used the phrase "upstairs hall", indicating that the hall is usually downstairs - i.e. in the ground floor/1st floor (again, depending on location Why can't all the world be location-independent. Crime-solving could be more fun that way). Last edited by Iznogood; 01-05-2013 at 04:42 PM. |

To clarify - the phrase "run up to the library" is simply an Americanism that means "to go to the library". Similarly, "walking down the hall" doesn't mean going downstairs. The library is located on the same floor as the lounge/living room - NOT upstairs. Hint: Spoiler:

Okay, okay. I confess. I did it. I know I shouldn't have but that dang chicken kept clucking and sprouting its wings at me and I just went kinda berszerk. I've been hiding in the story in the one place no one expects to find me. The doghouse. My apologies to the author, characters, editor, and readers. I promise I won't do it again.

Can I hope for a comment in the forum here on the location of the kitchen? I can send a PM about why that's important too. Last edited by Iznogood; 01-05-2013 at 05:18 PM. | |
