All the books in the MobileRead Library are out of copyright in Canada (for the main server) or in the US (for those on the US server).

What links did you delete? The closest thing to a link I saw was when I linked to the UCA professor who had posted it on one of his pages; although because I wasn't sure of the legality of what he did, I didn't link to the specific page. As far as I can tell, his home page gives no clue as to how to locate it. There's no link to it on the page, either direct or indirect.

Thanks. I was wondering. Thanks, also, for doing the research to show it's still in copyright.

Glad now I didn't post the actual link. It just goes to show you can't take things for granted. You'd think a college professor would be least be sufficiently aware of copyright laws to avoid posting works that are not in the public domain, and one that teaches courses in ethics doubly so. I guess what Will Rogers said still holds true: "Everyone is ignorant, only on different subjects."

I'm embarrassed to say I forgot to look there. They sell here, but most of what they have is low on my list of acquiring as an ebook. It is hard to justify the money when I have all the paperbacks.

Oh I agree, most of the Heinlein that I have are sfbc.com hardbacks (not many of these are available there any more) along with a modest amount of paperbacks.
