Stop epub conversion compressing images -please
Hi,
I am trying to convert a 30mb. (don't ask!) mobi to epub - and when I do it reduces the file to 12mb. When converting to mobi i have an option not to compress files - but when converting to epub I don't seem to have the option. Is there a way to stop image compression in calibre when converting epub to mobi? Thank you - and seasons greetings! Robert

Images are not compressed when converting to epub.

They can be reduced in size, though, depending on the output profile selected. Use the "Tablet" output profile to stop this size reduction occurring.
