Books not listed alphabetically on glo

Hi,

I got a Kobo Glo for christmas which I have synched with Kobo desktop and also copied 359 books onto a micro sd card and inserted that into the Glo as well, so that I have 529 books on it. But when I list books by title it lists them in a random order i.e. Harlequin & Vagabond are the first 2 books listed even though I have other Bernard Cornwell books including his latest book 1356.

When I list the books by file type it lists them alphabetically for the epubs and then for the kepubs.

Is there any way to get it to list all the books alphabetically by title, and is this a problem peculiar to my Kobo Glo, or is it common on all Glo's?

Also not sure if this is connected in someway, but my internet is unstable due to having had the external wire between the junction boxes outside my house replaced last wednesday, although I am trying to get my isp to fix this at the moment.

Any help gratefully received.

It might have something to do with the Series info. On my Touch with 2.3.1 it has Created The Destroyer (#1 in The Destroyer series) listed alphabetically where The Destroyer would go (ie, in the Ds, ignoring "The".) as opposed to the Cs for Created.

Yeah it is the series info, I'd noticed that just earlier a couple days ago. I think it's a good idea, so we needn't have to go searching for the titles of the series with all the series together.
