Prs-T1 bookmarks issue
My T1 suffers an annoyng issue. Sometimes when I tap the upper right corner to add a bookmark the bookmark doesn't appears, I did several reset and only when updated to thye last fw 1.0.05.11130 the issue disappeared for a while know is back again. Anyone has experience is this bug, because I can't realize if is a fw or hardware issue

I'd say it's a user issue and you're not touching it right. Why would you do a reset because it doesn't make a bookmark? Sometimes it doesn't work for me but that's because I didn't tap it in the right area or with the right amount of touch. It's not a bug. It's the user.

Yeah, it's a limited area to tap. I keep wanting to tap it way up in the corner, where the bookmark appears, but the actual area to tap is farther away from the frame.

Interesting theory and I have already thought that the guilty may be my finger so I ask you this: because the touch screen technology is infrared, may be that something in my finger cause the issue; sweat, dirty etc

I lent my T1 to a friend weeks ago and she read a full book using bookmarks with any trouble and was the first time she used an ebook reader

Also.....Make sure your screen is clean particularly around the edges.. use a good quality glass cleaner..

Also, the bookmark takes a moment to show up even when you tap correctly. If you don't wait long enough, think it didn't work, and tap again, you may inadvertently delete the bookmark you just set (I've done this).

I am glad I found this thread. I was having problems adding bookmarks as well. Turns out I was simply pressing to close to the corner. I've started pressing a bit further into the page, and voila, instant bookmark EVERY time
