Try your library. No point paying for it if they have it.

Just remember to search for it with quotes - "Frank Herbert" instead of Frank Herbert. Man, I miss the days when search engines were ANDed by default instead of ORed as they are now (and *glares at Google* actually used the words you typed instead of what it decides you meant!). :/

(Just checked and my own library does have it. So, yay! an alternative for when my movie edition of the paperback, bought off the rack at the little family drug store across the street from the theatre the night I saw the movie - '84? '86? hella long time ago, anyways - and once almost every year since)

Did you have to remind me of this?! I've been in conniptions about what iTunes 11 did to iTunes U courses. I've only just been reminded about that obscene Dune price (rat bas...ripoff...sons of...). My multi-connipting capacity is not unlimited.

Just waiting for the 2013 release of the second book in the new "Schools of dune" series
hopefully an expanded story about the origins of the navigators.

I love the Dune universe!!!
I was just thinking that there must be more than just 5 books, and trying to decide whether I wanted to investigate.

All this discussion made me want to re-read it... our library actually has an ecopy! (we've only got 6,000 ebooks, counting both fiction and non-fiction) - it may take a month or more for me to get it, there are 3 other people on the waiting list. But still... at least I'll be able to get a copy.

Or in this case, millions of them!

14.99 is egregiously dumb.
