Ja, das würde mich auch interessieren: Marc, da schleppe ich mich nach einem 3stündigen Zwerge-gegen-Orks-Gemetzel im Kino mühsam noch hier ins Forum, um zu sehen, ob du schon rot siehst oder ob alles noch grün bei dir ist und was ist? Kein Marc weit und breit! Ich hoffe, du liest ganz entspannt und alles ist ok in Sachen Farbwolke....

Zwei Möglichkeiten: Entweder der PW gefällt ihm so gut, dass er im Land des Lesens untergetaucht ist. Oder aber er ist ob der Rot-Grün-Wolke ohnmächtig geworden und nicht wieder erwacht.... Man darf gespannt sein. Zwecks Randabstandseinstellungen gibt es drei im Auswahlbereich bei den Texteinstellungen. Aber die habt ihr sicher selber schon gefunden, sodass ich annehme, dass es in der Auswahl nicht den gewünschten Randabstand gibt. JBPatch als alternative Lösung gibt es meines Wissens (bisher) nur für den Touch. |

Der amazon-Chat-Mitarbeiter sagt zum Thema Rand, dass die reader.pref nach FW-Update auf keinem Kindle mehr zugänglich ist. Bravo.

Das ist ein Grund. Das höhere Gewicht gefällt mir auch nicht und mir fehlen die Hardware-Tasten. Ich werde erst einmal testen. Ob ich ihn jedoch behalte kann ich noch nicht sagen.

Schade. Ich lese – nach einigen Eingewöhnungsproblemen – inzwischen tagsüber und mit Außenlicht sehr gern mit dem PW, weil ich ihn handlich, schnell, gut lesbar und leicht zu bedienen finde. Bei schlechter Beleuchtung abends im Bett ziehe ich das iPad vor. Der Rand stört mich nach wie vor, aber durch die höhere Auflösung ist der Text identisch mit der Keyboardversion ohne Rand – nur geringsfügig kleiner. Zum Keyboard möchte ich nicht mehr zurück, die Bedienung kommt mir inzwischen im Vergleich sehr umständlich und vor allem sehr langsam vor. Ich habe übrigens das Amazon Cover, diese Kombination empfinde ich als nahezu perfekt und sehr applelike, da stört mich das Gewicht nicht. Last edited by Alaska; 12-13-2012 at 12:50 PM. |

Den Kindle Touch habe ich übersprungen und nur den Vergleich zum Keyboard, den gewinnt der PW deutlich.

Heute ist mein Kindle Paperrainbow angekommen.
Allerdings stören mich die Farbflecken nicht so sehr wie die Hintergrundbeleuchtung selbst. Ich lese viel abends und nachts - gerade bei schlechten Lichtverhältnissen wirkt die beleuchtete Fläche «unbuchmäßig». Vor Kurzem habe ich bei einer Bekannten den Kindle 4 (Non-Touch) ausprobiert. Auch im abgedunkelten Raum mit Kindle-Leseleuchte-Hülle. Zwar war die Beleuchtung naturgemäß nicht gleichmäßig verteilt, aber gerade der lampenhafte Schein der Leseleuchte vermittelte mir viel eher ein Buch-Gefühl als die Hintergrundbeleuchtung des Kindle Paperwhite. Ich fühlte mich in die späte Kindheit zurückversetzt, als ich gerne abends im Bett mit spärlicher Lampenbeleuchtung ein Buch las. Der Paperwhite wirkt im Gegensatz dazu eher wie ein steriles, wenn auch augenfreundliches Tablet. In den nächsten zwei Wochen werde ich ihn ausgiebig testen. Sollte es mich dann immer noch stören, geht er zurück und wird durch einen Kindle 4 (Non-Touch) mit Leseleuchten-Hülle ersetzt. Last edited by MobyDünn; 12-13-2012 at 07:06 PM. |
