sorry, even for so worthy a cause as redistributing rain, i'm not trusting any scientist with anything near my eyes ("just a light", pull the other one...). nice try.

Wait until they use a stick to "warp" your eyeball in order to get the (laser) light to the correct place for surgery. Not fun.

I win. They punch holes in my eyeballs quite often, but the latest effort in June was 3 big holes at the same time. 1 for the camera & tools, 1 for the incoming fluid, and 1 for the suction. But I can still wink!

we did, somehow M. Enterprises was tasked with the project; somehow a person, as yet un-named, pressed too many red buttons, and the chosen spot for this month turned out to be over and around .....Paris....

for god's sake put a warning before telling something like that next time so i have time to cover my eyes and look away !!!!! aarg !!! i'm still squirming and cringing at that idea, sheesh. i may have nightmares tonight.

Do you get used to procedures like that? I can't imagine having stuff put in my eye.

Yes, actually, you sort of do get used to it. The hard part is seeing the sharp things that they are poking thru to the back of the eyeball and not flinching.

no, i'm like most of you, scared of any procedure that has to do with the eyeballs....it's bad enough with ears - but having to see an instrument approaching - let's face it, it's the one part of the body that can't turn away ..... in fact put that way the eyes are very vulnerable ..... gggaaaaaaaaaa

Once had day surgery to remove two cysts, one on my scalp and one on my left buttock. I found out that "where I live" is closer to my head, and that's where my eyes are.

I live closer to my butt, seeing as how it's all big and warm and fluffy. And has more hair.
