Request: recipe for Pinboard (or other)

Hi, all.

I was hoping someone could post a recipe for Pinboard, or some similar site/service.

I currently use Instapaper. I also use other sites that do archiving of sites & posts, like Diigo, Pinboard, and now Memonic. I would *like* to consolidate these services and just pick one, that both works with Calibre for offline reading, and also stores images in addition to text, the feature I'm missing in Instapaper.

From all of these services, if I were to have to pick one, I would probably pick Pinboard. For that reason, I'd like to see if I can get Calibre working with Pinboard for offline syncing with my Nook.

(I'm also trying to get into Python, so if someone could get me started with a recipe, I would be happy to try to polish it up myself.)

I just saw this request and thought you might be interested to know I have written a recipe to retrieve unread Pinboard bookmarks.
