HI Guys

I have been lurking on here for a little while and finally thought I should say hello.

This forum has been a great find. The info here has helped me enormously in deciding if I should get an ebook reader and which to go for.

As it's my first reader, I finally decided to go for the Sony reader and have pre-ordered it from Waterstones here in the UK for September launch.
I am soooooooooooooooooo excited and it seems like such a long wait.

I adore books and love gadgets too, so am sure I will love the experience. Just wish Amazon would bring the Kindle over here, theirs looks to be one the easest and cheaper buying experiences as far as actual books go. But the Sony looks so darn pretty too..

Thanks so much for all your help, even though I kept quiet and just read the posts, it helped so much.

Hi babyd and welcome to the Forum. Congrats on ordering the Sony. I got one back in January and really like it.

In addition to having to wait till September, be aware you have to charge it up when it arrives. Once you've got that thing in your hands, having to wait an hour or so for it to charge seems like an eternity.

Anyway, be sure and let us know how you like it once you it does arrive.
