.imp conversion

Does anyone know of a way to convert ebook .imp files to more readily read ones? I tried calibre but that won't work.

Never mind -I found a converter on MR from 2008 that worked ok. It converted the .imp to an .lrf file, and Calibre converted it to rtf. After that a bit of editing was required to delete a bunch of 'UNKNOWN' and 'span' statements, and to convert an odd symbol to em dash.

Most of the online software will not help to convert .imp files. For this you will need to take help of service provider like http://www.ebookconversion.com/.
