Good question. This particular project I will finish. All the projects around the house?? Who knows?

I've got one quilt I started in 2004 ... got it all pieced ... got all the shams quilted ... never got the quilt actually quilted. Someday ... maybe ... but it was meant for the California house and that was decorated in different colors than the place here in Texas.

Oh, and speaking of colors ... the stepstool and the kitchen island look really bright orange in that photo ... but they are really more of a colonial red. I have no idea why they came out so .... orange in the photo. It's just a big glaring ...

Okay, so that was 48 hrs or so I don't want to repeat anytime in the future. Suffice to say I'm weak as a kitten, but I will live. Have graduated from ice chips to ice water to chicken w/ rice soup, and food is starting to look/sound good again. Now, if I could just get rid of this headache.....but I'm thankful for where I am.

But enough about me. How is everyone??? I've missed you........okay, you KNOW you're sick when you can't even lay in bed and log on to MR!

I'm with Zelda, Ricky. Hell, I'd consider turning straight for Katherine Hepburn. You just crush away on Stephen Fry to your heart's content (I don't blame you - he's an intellectual dish and a half, much like the (straight) Clive James). Why let reality get in the way of a pleasant fantasy?

Don't know that I'd go gay for Ms. Hepburn. I more wanted to be her than sleep with her .... but Michelle Pfeiffer?? No .... pretty much want to be her too.

i might consider it for Lauren Bacall (although, perhaps you're right, maybe i'd rather *be* her) but since usually when she is around Humphrey Bogart is not far away (well, in the films i watch anyway...) i'm far too distracted to give it much thought.
