Marolda, Edward: Ready Seapower. v1. 22 November 2012
This book has the subtitle, A History of the U. S. 7th Fleet.
It is a history from the beginning of the 7th Fleet during World War II to the current day. It has many interesting highlights on this period in history which were only intermittently reported in the news, such as when the Pueblo was seized. It is copiously illustrated with nearly all images in color, in case your reader can display them. The images have been scaled down to fit an 800 x 600 screen. It is a publication of the US Naval History and Heritage Command, so is in the public domain. This work is assumed to be in the Life+70 public domain OR the copyright holder has given specific permission for distribution.
