My understanding is that they were trying to take the Bounty out of harbor and circle wide of Sandy - for safety - but couldn't outrun the wind field.

Sunny & warming today - we have a gradual warming trend beginning - for about a week. Yesterday was cold & drizzly (high in the 40's F), but temps rising into the 50's today, into the 60's F by the weekend.

Clear and sunny with mid 70'sF today, but will move to 50's and 60's with rain predicted on some days. I gave up trying to figure out whether it was summer or winter each day.

How did that happen? It's been cold all day in Tidewater with sprinkles and not a hint of fire in the sky.
