Nothing in my cup, and no breakfast this morning.

Had to get out early to get the top on my S2000 fixed. It was replaced 3 weeks ago, but the new one has a leak so they're adjusting/fixing whatever they mucked up. Meanwhile, working remotely using my phone in tether mode.

Just finished an Americano, black, with a shot of hazlenut syrup. The big mistake was I forgot to ask for decaf, which I have been drinking for the past 6 months or so (got rid of my palpitations). I am now feeling light-headed and a bit weird...

sparkling water in one, and coffee in the other. I've been on a diet for 2 weeks where I give myself an injection every morning and eat 500-1000 calories a day. I've lost 13 pounds, but what is really impressive is the fat that I've lost in inches!

Nice one! What is this injection thing, though? Sounds a bit extreme. Might be just what I need to get past my current plateau .

here is a link there are as many detractors as there are proponents. first off, I am doing this WITH my physicians supervision, and she actually put me on it. I am being monitored for muscle loss and water absorption. after the first week, I was indeed losing muscle, I have pretty heavy muscle mass due to the extremely physical life I have had, because of this, she increased my protein consumption. the shots are not difficult to do, the needle is very small and you inject in the fatty part of the upper thigh or your belly. the theory is that the hormone simulates pregnancy and absorbs the unnecessary "bad" fat. and yes, it works in men. it's been around since the fifties

Wonderful news, KK! It would appear that there are many of us who are dieting these days, and with success! Keep up the good work. I've finally cracked the 88Kg mark myself, and this morning weighed in at 87.3kg, down from 103 at the end of July. I had several pair of pants altered a week ago, and already the waist size is too big! I'm going to have to do it all over again! I've set my new target at 80kg. I've discovered that keeping between 500-1000 calories a day is not a problem so long as I can 'cheat' once or twice a week with a treat. But it's the exercise that I've been getting that is really making the biggest difference... I can move again!

But I could never do it your way... Needles scare the hell out of me. I'm glad of that however, as it's probably the only thing that kept me from becoming a junkie back in my younger days. Too many of my childhood friends died from OD'ing... Keep up updated on your progress over in the Diet thread.

Never heard of it here, but we are so risk-averse you wouldn't believe it. Doctors wouldn't trust you do self administer (with the exception of diabetics, maybe). Best of luck with the bad fat battle.
